Irish Set Dancing Lessons with Rita O’Shea

New at Harrington’s this fall – Irish set dancing lessons with Rita O’Shea

We are adding a second night of Irish set dancing at Harrington’s this fall. In addition to the regular Wednesday night dance sessions led by Frank Keane and Eileen McClelland, Rita O’Shea now offers lessons for adults on Tuesday nights from 7:30 to 9:30 upstairs in the function room.

Rita, originally from Galway, has taught Irish set and ceili dancing for many years in nearby Billerica. Many of her followers are continuing with her at Harrington’s.

Students from the beginner summer Irish set dancing classes at Harrington’s with Frank and Eileen have an opportunity to continue learning new sets with Rita. Beginners are welcome! No experience is required. Lesson’s are open to the public. There is a small fee for the lesson on a pay as you go basis. No sign-up required, but you are requested to leave your contact information with Rita in the event the class needs to be cancelled. Check the calendar – we’ll try to keep it updated.

  1. Hello,
I thought you might be interested in a resource for dance notes.
We’ve got several different dance forms with full notes and crib with links to other online resources and members can download pdf versions. New features are being added on a regular basis.

Thank you, Micheal. We have used your dance notes at Harrington’s – they are a great resource!
