Entertainment at Harrington’s!

Live Entertainment! Wednesday nights is traditional Irish music night starting at 8:30 PM. Enjoy a traditional Irish music Seisiún with fiddle, guitar, vocals, accordion, concertina, whistle, and more.  On Friday and Saturday nights and on special occasions Harrington’s features live bands to add to your dining and after-dinner enjoyment. There are local and international artists, traditional, acoustic, folk, and classic rock. You’ll hear good dance music and traditional and contemporary Celtic tunes, as well. Get ready for a good time!

Traditional Irish Music Seisiún

Wednesday nights at Harrington’s Terry Weir hosts a traditional Irish Seisiún (or session,)which is a gathering of musicians to play together. At the session you may hear tunes such as jigs, reels, hornpipes, airs, and such from Ireland on instruments like the fiddle, accordion, recorder, tin whistle, or even a guitar. You will hear songs sung with accompaniment and even the occasional verse or poem recited. From time to time there may be step dancing, too. The tunes start at 8:30 every Wednesday night and go until 11:30.

Harrington’s Music Session, starting at 8:30PM, draws an appreciative crowd and talented musicians. Stop by Harrington’s any Wednesday night for the taste and feel of old Ireland brought to life with the traditional Irish tunes. Irish Set Dancing at Harrington’s

Also on Wednesdays, upstairs in the function room from 7:30PM to 9:30PM*, Boston area set dancers enjoy a lively Irish dance session to recorded traditional Irish music led by Frank Keane. Light refreshments are provided and a $7 donation is requested. For information on the set dancing or to be added to the set dancing email list, contact frank@irishsetdancing.org and you will be notified of any changes to the schedule.

*There is no set dancing in December and whenever there is a function booked upstairs.
